Be a part of UW–Madison Day at the Wisconsin State Fair!

Celebrate the spirit and tradition of the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Join Bucky Badger, the UW Marching Band, students, faculty, and alumni for a day of exploration, celebration, and fun at Central Park located within the fairgrounds.

There is something for everyone: hands-on scientific demonstrations, live presentations, performances, games, and, of course, the pep rally and parade.

Your visit to the State Fair on August 6 can help others. To benefit Milwaukee-area children who are in need of school supplies for a successful year, UW–Madison is sponsoring a school supplies drive. You can either bring new, unopened school supplies to a State Fair admissions gate or make a cash donation to the Wisconsin Alumni Association to go towards the purchase of supplies. As a thank you, receive $4 off adult admission until 4 p.m. One discount per item donated. See our slideshow from 2013.

You've made a difference

Visitors to UW–Madison Day at the State Fair in 2013 generously contributed to the school supply and cash donation drive led by the Wisconsin Alumni Association.

125 55-gallon bags of school supplies were collected in addition to $5,500 in cash donations.
